About the Project

JDL Refrigeration, an HVAC service provider, came to us with a goal to increase their lead generation and boost conversions through a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. They were struggling to see meaningful results despite spending a significant amount on advertising. We were tasked with identifying the key areas for improvement and executing a campaign that would drive qualified leads and increase profitability.

Lack of Conversions – Despite the active campaigns, there was a noticeable gap between ad clicks and actual conversions.

High Costs with Low Conversion Rates – The company was spending heavily on advertising but seeing very little return in terms of profit and customer acquisition.

Irrelevant Leads – A significant number of leads generated were not qualified, which led to wasted time and effort on prospects that didn’t match their target audience.

Phone Call vs. Lead Form Performance – Testing between phone call leads and lead form submissions showed that phone call leads were mostly irrelevant, while lead forms were more likely to produce qualified prospects.

To address these challenges, we took a systematic approach by conducting a detailed analysis of JDL Refrigeration’s existing campaigns and lead generation methods. We implemented A/B testing to compare the effectiveness of phone call leads versus lead forms, and utilized Launch Cart for additional campaign testing.

Over time, it became clear that lead forms were producing the highest-quality leads, while phone calls were generating mostly irrelevant inquiries. By focusing the majority of the budget on lead form submissions, we were able to refine ad targeting, improve conversion rates, and significantly reduce wasted spend on irrelevant leads.

Conclusion

After 5 months of optimizing the campaign, JDL Refrigeration saw a remarkable turnaround in their results. With a total ad spend of $11,000, the campaign generated a profit of $113,235. This was achieved by eliminating ineffective strategies like phone call leads and concentrating on lead form submissions, which delivered qualified leads and maximized return on investment.

The success of this project highlights the importance of data-driven decision-making and the need to continuously optimize marketing strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
